BRIANNA GUILD
PROJECT MANAGER
Brianna graduated from the University of Guelph in 2017, with a B.Sc. Honours Biochemistry (Co-op) degree and a minor in Psychology: Brain & Cognition. She worked in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology at the University of Guelph as a Research Assistant and has several publications.
Brianna is thriving in her final year of training to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. She was a Co-Chair for Theory to Therapy, the first ever student-run Ontario Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Graduate Student Conference, and organizes events in support of May Speech and Hearing Month to raise public awareness about communication health. She also volunteers in her program's Multilingual Development Lab at the University of Toronto.
Brianna is currently leading the University of Toronto chapter of Mind Your Mind. Her mindfulness journey began with yoga and daily meditations, and she continuously seeks new ways to incorporate mindfulness into daily life. She encourages all future and practicing healthcare professionals to care for their own wellness to prevent burnout and better serve their clients. When she isn’t advocating for her profession, Brianna spends time practicing yoga, enjoying the great outdoors and attending live concerts.
